As a service, we have been practitioning as Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs) for 14 years, carrying out our duties as part of Warr & Co Chartered Accountants. However, with effect from 1st October 2011, we commenced trading independently of our former accountancy colleagues.
Over the last few months, we have been reminded of the hurdles to be overcome, i.e. the regulation, the paperwork, the time and effort just to metaphorically open the doors for business each day. We have not physically moved but despite this it was a monumental effort to be ready for the 1st October 2011 launch of Warr & Co Independent Financial Advisers. A pat on the back for all involved.
You may notice that we have rebranded and we have a new website. We hope you like our new corporate identity. Many thanks to Russ Bedson at DR Media Group for his efforts to date.
Like any modern business, our next step is to interact with our existing and potential clients on social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, etc. We are also hoping in the future to develop our own YouTube channel. Social media is an important outlet, even in the world of financial advice and one that we fully intend to embrace so that we will always be able to communicate with you.
Some of these issues are for the future and like all good things, it is best to take one step at a time. In the immediate term, despite all the changes, we are fully looking forward to continuing doing what we do best and enjoy most. That is to provide both our existing clients and prospective new ones with professional and independent financial advice whatever their needs and requirements. We are planning for the future and we hope we can help you to do the same.
